Un Treated Timber

About Our Un Treated Timber

We supply untreated carcassing timber for structural builds that don't require preservative treatment. It's a strong, reliable choice for internal framing, joists, stud walls, floor structures, and other dry environment applications.

This timber is kiln dried and planed all round. That means faster fitting, cleaner results, and reduced risk of warping once installed.

It’s a favourite among builders, joiners, and DIY customers who want high strength timber without the need for chemical treatment.

Our Untreated Carcassing Timber

All carcassing timber in this range is strength graded to C24 and sourced from slow-grown Scandinavian forests. This slow growth results in a tight grain structure for added strength in construction builds.

Each piece is kiln dried to the correct moisture content which gives it the stability needed for framing, floor joists, and roof trusses.

As it isn’t pressure treated, it’s best suited for indoor or covered applications where moisture isn’t a concern.

We store all our timber indoors at our Kettering branch, which means it always arrives in top condition for immediate use. It is also Chain of Custody certified, which grants the added peace of mind that it is coming from sustainably managed forests.
