Regularised Carcassing

About Our Regularised Carcassing

At Joseph Parr Northants, we supply regularised carcassing timber for structural and framing work across residential and commercial builds.

Regularised carcassing is planed all round for consistent dimensions and easier handling. It is a go-to choice for many builders, joiners, landscapers and DIY customers.

All of our carcassing timber is kiln dried to reduce moisture content, in turn helping prevent warping after installation.

If you’re building a floor, roof, or frame, our regularised carcassing timber is exactly what you need for a load bearing frame.

Treated and Untreated Timber Options Available

We stock both treated carcassing timber and untreated carcassing timber, available in a range of industry standard sizes for common framing tasks.

Our treated timber is strength-graded to C24 and pressure-treated for protection against rot, fungal decay, and insect attack. It's suitable for external or above-ground applications such as decking frames, outbuildings, or roof structures. With a UC3 treatment class, this timber is ready to perform in challenging environments.

The untreated timber in this range is also C24 graded and sourced from slow-grown Scandinavian forests. It delivers high structural integrity with a dense, tight grain and clean, consistent finish. Ideal for dry internal applications, it's a popular choice for joists, partitions, and general structural use.
